This is a tribute to the actress Lynne Frederick. In my opinion Lynne was a very lovely and talented actress who deserves to be remembered and celebrated. This tribute is my small contribution to her memory, using material Ive collected.
For people who know any thing about her, she is probably most remembered for being the last wife of Peter Sellers. I remember Lynne most when she was a beautiful, young working actress. I enjoy watching her film and TV performances, and feel sad that her career was so short.

Lynne Frederick in 'El Vicio y la Virtud' - Part 2
Lynne Frederick in selected clips from Spanish film 'El Vicio y la Virtud' (The Vice and the Virtue). This a very rare film and after a long search I found this 8mm version. Unfortunately the picture quality is bad, but it gives a glimpse of Lynne in a film not many people have seen outside Spain.

Easily one of the prettiest girls of the 70 s along wi
A very pretty woman.
Beautiful Lynne.
Lynne was lovely, pity she's not still here today.
Lynne looks delightful here. Her marriage to Peter Sellers was probably a mistake, as he was a total womaniser and almost 29 years her senior. Her Mum was right she'd still be alive today if she hadn't married him. To die at 39, such a waste.
Lynne Frederick was the most beautiful woman
10 years since this post and I still can't find this movie anywhere else. The ending is very sad.
surely malcom mcdowell played a different role in this movie. very sensitive and loving .
She was s lovely - innocent face. Tragic what happened to her
R.I.P
Thanks for the repost :) :)
Wow, she was flawless. Even moreso than some of my idols like Elizabeth Taylor.
Lynne was my pin-up for years. She's just gorgeous in this clip. Such a sad ending for her though.
Lynne Fredericks life was very much like Cinderella but without a happy ending.
Would have been less creepy if a different actress had played the wife. Maybe the woman who played Irene. At least that would have seemed more realistic.
This is just creepy!!!
The song at the end, 'Today' , is actually sung by Lynne though it say's Alibe at the beginning of the film.
That was excellent, thanks for posting ! Lynne Frederick looked so happy here, she did have a certain quality.
Fiona Fullerton is my fav.
Wonderful shot at 19secs in.
do you have instagram
she was special
a couple of real 70s beauties in this clip. (and those 2 girls aren't bad either)
Lynne Frederick looks so cute with the blonde Farrah Fawcet feather fringe of the mid-late 70s. Let's pray this movie comes out on DVD some day in the not too distant future
Bad Quality? this quality is absolutely fantastic, its certainly better than the VHS and Beta copys I've come across of this film. What I like is that you have it in widescreen and not fullscreen. please please please please please please please please please please upload the full movie uncut from start to end please and thank you.
Absolutely the MOST ROMANTIC movie and the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman I have ever seen in my whole life. RIP Lynne :(
She truly was the most beautiful woman of the 1970s.
Do you have the entire series? I'm desperate to see Keith Mitchel's THE SIX WIVES OF HENRY THE EIGHTH in its entirety. - Janet Thompson Deaver
Please repost his video I Love it so much xxx
someone explain to me why did they suicide ???? they looked great together
Was this after the Space 1999 episode or before her hair looks blonder here
Before Space 1999
what movie is this?
It's in the description.
So sad she died so tragically - timeless beauty.....
Wow true beauty so sad how it all ended!!! MEN!!!!!
+Jo Jo Spellbound Typical , it was substance gluttony that killed her…christ! what did a beautiful rich creature like her have to blow her life for? She had it all, and blew it all.
Yes but if we are not content within ourselves as she wasn't and turned to self destruct mode fame, fortune and beauty count for nothing. So glad I have my faith to carry me through this life time!
+Jo Jo Spellbound I was going to say before your post disappeared that faith is a good thing, but i disagree that good looks are unimportant, attractiveness can open all kind of doors for you in this day and age. It's sad about Lynn though, she could stand shoulder to shoulder with any woman on the planet, personality included, and her options were endless.
True ~ she was the quintessential English Rose and like a few others ladies from her era had that certain something that is so lacking now days .....
omg 5 months still love her still i am fifty on monday it really is true die young stay pretty sorry lynne really wished in another life when we both cats etc etc
This is so weird :D. I love that they are laughing too :D.
we're can I find this movie
Should have filmed it in Cuba - that would have been radical and blown a few minds.
lblythe01 Lol. And there was me thinking that the four sisters would look good in bikinis.
+Twirlyhead LOL they would too
Was this made before the Vice and Virture film, she was stunning in that
She looked kind of like Olivia Newton John
She looks little girl in this scene
many thanks ^ ^
There was a great TV series on Henry and his wives in 1972, starring Keith Michell....
+Medieval Richard The Elizabeth one with Glenda Jackson is still up.
I think i love her sooooooo sad
holymother, she looks good in that thumbnail
she was married to the later Peter Sellers.
yes
got to admit it he was a dirty old man ,,,,,
PLEASE, can someone upload the whole film? I think she's the best actress of the 'Catherines'. Thank you.
She didn't make a speech?
Lynne Frederick Rip
+Sabrina Jaine She did, but it was far from noble, so it would not be depicted if the intention is to make her look like a heroine/victim. What she actually said was "I die a queen, but I would much rather die as the wife of Thomas Culpeper"
On the contrary, I believe her speech was very brave and truthful. Considering many (such as Ann Boleyn) made speeches only meant to please the crowd, Katherine spoke her mind. That makes her a true heroine in my book.
That is just a myth. Catherine never made the 'Culpeper's wife' speech.
History proves that Katherine Howard never said that. She made a speech describing her punishment as "worthy and just" and asked for mercy for her family and prayers for her soul. Nobody reported Katie making the "Culpeper speech"; she stuck to traditional final words, asking for forgiveness for her sins and acknowledging that she deserved to die 'a thousand deaths' for betraying the king.
just special
